Our client is a well established accountancy practice in Ashford. They service a varied client base and have grown rapidly in recent years.

Description

  • Prepare accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.
  • Support senior accountants with audits and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Handle bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Provide tax advice and assist with tax computations where required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering guidance and support.
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and relevant legislation.

Profile

A successful Semi-Senior Accountant should have:

  • Experience in preparing accounts for various client types.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and the use of relevant accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
  • A professional qualification or part-qualification in accountancy (ACCA, ACA).
