Description
- Prepare accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.
- Support senior accountants with audits and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Handle bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
- Provide tax advice and assist with tax computations where required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering guidance and support.
- Contribute to the development of internal processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and relevant legislation.
Profile
A successful Semi-Senior Accountant should have:
- Experience in preparing accounts for various client types.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and the use of relevant accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
- A professional qualification or part-qualification in accountancy (ACCA, ACA).
