Location: Edinburgh, EH11 4HN

Working Hours: Rotating dayshift, Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm & Mon-Fri, 2pm-10pm

Payrate: £14.07 per hour

Contract type: Full time, perm (paid monthly)

We’re looking for a Recorder who can bring accuracy, organisation, and a proactive mindset to our logistics and distribution team. This role is key to ensuring finished products are prepared safely for transport, recorded correctly, and handled in line with quality standards.

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, take pride in maintaining high standards, and are confident managing both physical tasks and administrative responsibilities. You’ll play an important role in ensuring products move efficiently from production to warehouse while maintaining excellent record accuracy.

Your Role in Creating Quality Bakes

  • Build pallets of finished product in line with specification to ensure safe transport to the warehouse.
  • Complete all production paperwork accurately, recording outputs for each shift.
  • Open, check, and repackage rejected products in line with quality standards.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the packing floor using clean-as-you-go practices
  • Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
  • Identify issues with product quality or pallet builds and take appropriate action.

The Key Ingredients

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly for record-keeping and product handling.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills to complete documentation accurately.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and stacking products.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks during a shift.
  • Team-oriented approach with clear communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset, particularly when handling rejected or damaged products.
  • Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with pallet building, packing, or production recording processes is beneficial.
  • Experience working with quality control procedures or handling finished goods is desirable.
