Teaching Personnel
We are currently supporting a range of secondary schools across Plymouth and the surrounding areas who are looking for enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join them from September on a supply, short-term, and long-term basis.
This is a great opportunity for ECTs who are looking to build confidence in the classroom, gain valuable experience across different schools, and develop a strong understanding of the local education landscape before securing a permanent role.
The Role:
- Secondary teaching across KS3 and KS4 (subject specialism considered)
- Flexible supply, short-term, and long-term placements available
- Full class responsibility where appropriate or supported cover roles
- Opportunities to work in a variety of school settings across the region
Working Pattern:
- Term time only
- Flexible placements to suit your availability
- Full-time and part-time options available depending on school needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Recently qualified ECTs or teachers completing training this summer
- Strong classroom presence and a passion for teaching and learning
- Willingness to adapt to different school environments
- Good behaviour management and communication skills
- A positive and proactive attitude towards professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
