Reed HR are currently working in partnership with a well-established organisation within the education sector to recruit an experienced HR Advisor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and knowledgeable HR professional to join a supportive and purpose-driven environment. 

On site role 5 days a week – 36 hours Monday to Friday

The Role

As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service to managers and staff. You will provide expert guidance across a range of employee relations matters and support the wider HR function in driving best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and guidance on employee relations issues including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance management
  • Manage ER cases from end to end, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies
  • Support managers with HR queries and promote best practice across the organisation
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and HR administration where required
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or currently working towards completion – essential)
  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor role or similar
  • A strong background within the education sector (essential)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices
  • The ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
