Umbrella Payroll Experience – St Albans £30,000 – £35,000 per annum based on site
Are you a detail-driven Payroll professional with a passion for process improvement and have hands on payroll experience from start to finish.
We’re looking for a Payroll administrator with umbrella experience to join a dynamic and evolving business, playing a pivotal role in transforming how payroll and finance data is managed across the organisation. This is not a “steady state” role it’s an opportunity to drive change and optimise processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing data integrity across Finance and Payroll systems, ensuring a “single source of truth”
- Overseeing timesheet, self-bill, and non-labour sales processes within strict deadlines
- Driving process standardisation, compliance, and scalability
- Answering queries
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to support business performance and decision-making
What success looks like:
. Previous umbrella experience
- Previous in-house start to finish payroll experience
- Prior pension experience
- A highly organised, analytical mind set with strong attention to detail
- A proactive approach with the confidence to challenge, improve, and implement change
