We're working with specialist schools and resource provisions across Sunderland seeking dedicated SEN HLTAs to support pupils with additional needs.
These settings provide tailored support for pupils with SEND and are committed to helping every child reach their full potential through personalised learning and intervention.
What you'll be doing
• Delivering targeted interventions for pupils with SEND • Leading learning activities and small group sessions • Supporting pupils with EHCPs and additional learning needs • Working alongside teachers and SENDCOs • Monitoring progress and adapting support strategies • Promoting independence and confidence
What we're looking for
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience • Experience supporting pupils with SEND • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • A patient and nurturing approach • Willingness to travel across Sunderland and nearby areas • Driving is beneficial but not essential • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
