Prospero Teaching is working with a secondary school in E1 that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join their team from September 2026. We are looking for an individual with laboratory experience and a relevant degree who is passionate about supporting the delivery of practical Science lessons and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for students.
Contract Details Location: E1 Position: Science Technician Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary depending on the school's needs) Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience Schedule: Full-time
Experience, Training and Qualifications Required A degree in a Science-related subject Previous laboratory experience (educational, industrial or research setting) Experience working within a school environment is desirable Strong organisational and practical skills Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a laboratory setting Ability to prepare, maintain and store equipment and materials for Science lessons Reliable, punctual and committed
To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must: Have the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one Provide two professional references covering the last two years
