Job Title: Band 6 District Nurse (RGN) Location: Twinwoods Health Centre, MK41 6AT – North Bedfordshire Trust: East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) Job Type: Agency / Ongoing Block Booking Job Description We are currently recruiting for experienced Band 6 District Nurses. This is a long-term opportunity with ongoing block bookings available for the right candidates.
Shift Patterns
• Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:30 • Late shifts: 13:00 – 21:00
Key Responsibilities • Manage a community caseload independently • Deliver high-quality patient care in community settings • Conduct patient assessments and care planning • Provide palliative and chronic disease management • Work collaboratively within MDT environments • Ensure accurate documentation and care continuity Essential Requirements • NMC Registered General Nurse (RGN) • Proven Band 6 District/Community Nursing experience • Strong background in palliative care & long-term conditions • Competent in wound care, catheter care & medication administration • Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively • Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle (essential) • Up-to-date mandatory training • Valid DBS Additional Information • Ongoing work available
