Room Leader
Zero2Five are proud to be working with a quality private nursery based near Forest Row, East Sussex, who are seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to lead their Two-Year-Old Room.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Early Years professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive nursery environment that is committed to delivering outstanding childcare and early education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team within the Two-Year-Old Room
- Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development
- Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate learning and development records
- Complete and oversee two-year progress reviews
- Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external professionals
- Support the early identification of additional needs and appropriate interventions
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS requirements are consistently met
- Support, mentor and develop team members within the room
- Maintain high standards of care, hygiene and record keeping
Requirements:
- Relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Experience working with two-year-old children
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development
