SEN Teaching Assistant – Reception – Camden
Location: Camden, North London
Start Date: September 2026
Hours:8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract:Full-Time, Term Time Only
A supportive and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking a Reception Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support for children with speech, language, and communication needs.
The role will involve working with individual pupils and small groups, supporting communication development, language-rich learning activities, and early social interaction skills within the classroom environment.
The successful candidate will:

Have experience working within Early Years or Key Stage 1.

Be confident supporting speech and language development.

Have a nurturing and engaging approach.

Work effectively alongside teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals.

Be passionate about helping young children achieve their potential.
This role would suit an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist, teacher, or an experienced Teaching Assistant.
