Teacher of Design & Technology
Secondary academy seeks a skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Design & Technology to join its successful Technology department.
This role would suit educators with expertise in Wood Technology, 3D Design, Food Technology, or Art.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Promoting excellent workshop practice and health and safety standards.
- Planning and assessing high-quality learning experiences.
- Supporting extracurricular enrichment activities where appropriate.
- Working closely with colleagues to drive curriculum development.
Applicants should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching experience.
- Strong workshop experience and knowledge of machinery and tools.
- The ability to teach practical elements confidently.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
