About the Role:
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackpool, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT to begin their teaching career in a supportive school environment with excellent mentoring and development opportunities. The role is offered for the full academic year, with the potential to secure a longer-term or permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to a primary class (KS1 or KS2)
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold (or be on track to achieve) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Be an enthusiastic and reflective Early Career Teacher
Demonstrate strong classroom practice and behaviour management
Have a commitment to raising standards and supporting all learners
Be eager to develop professionally within a supportive setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
