We are currently recruiting for a Permanent CCTV Operator (Nights) based in Mole Valley, Surrey, on behalf of our client. This role involves monitoring CCTV and security systems in a secure environment during night shifts, responding promptly to alarms and incidents, and liaising with emergency services and other stakeholders as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and maintain professionalism under pressure. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate incident logs, following security protocols, and providing clear reporting. The successful applicant will join a dedicated monitoring team and contribute to ensuring a safe and secure environment across the Mole Valley area.
- Current and valid SIA CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) Licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Good IT and computer literacy
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure
- Confidence working independently in a lone-working environment
- Professional, reliable, and trustworthy approach
This role offers a competitive salary of circa £28,000+ per annum depending on experience, with regular overtime opportunities subject to operational needs. The shift pattern is a 4-on / 4-off cycle, working 7:00pm to 7:00am, providing an excellent work-life balance with extended periods away from work.
