Secondary Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Bristol BA14

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Bristol, BA14. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a positive difference in their academic, social, and personal development.

The role is available on a full-time basis, with opportunities for candidates who are available to start immediately or from September.

What You'll Do:

Support students in the classroom through one-to-one and small group support Assist teachers with delivering engaging lessons and learning activities Help students overcome barriers to learning and build confidence Support positive behaviour and encourage student engagement Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to support student progress Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with young people within a school, youth, childcare, or support setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills A patient, positive, and adaptable approach Confidence supporting students with different learning needs and abilities A genuine passion for helping young people succeed Relevant education or support qualifications are desirable but not essential
