We are working with a highly regarded school in the Oxted area who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Theology Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate subject specialist who enjoys encouraging discussion, debate, and curiosity within the classroom. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping students explore a wide range of religious, ethical, and philosophical ideas, while supporting them to develop confidence and critical thinking skills.
The role would suit an experienced Theology/Religious Studies teacher, or a strong ECT looking for a supportive environment where they can continue to develop. You will be joining a friendly and collaborative department within a school that values high-quality teaching and positive relationships with students.

- Temp-to-perm or long-term cover contract options can also be considered
The ideal candidate will be passionate about Theology and Religious Studies, able to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, and committed to helping students achieve their potential both academically and personally.
