Our client is seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to maintain a safe, secure, and well-presented school environment, ensuring facilities and grounds are maintained to a high standard for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Salary & Shifts:

  • Pay: £13.35 per hour
  • Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Requirements:

  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

Job Role:

  • Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, security, and safety of school buildings and grounds
  • Respond to helpdesk requests and maintenance tasks
  • Unlock and lock buildings as required
  • Carry out porterage duties and room setups for events and activities
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks including fire alarm testing and emergency lighting checks
  • Support out-of-hours use of school facilities when required
  • Use equipment, cleaning materials, and chemicals safely and correctly
  • Follow all quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures
