KS1 Teacher – Colchester
September 2026 | Full-Time
An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated KS1 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Colchester from September 2026.
The school is seeking a teacher who can bring enthusiasm and creativity into the classroom while supporting pupils through the early stages of their educational journey. This role would suit someone who enjoys building positive relationships, delivering engaging lessons, and contributing to a nurturing school environment.
Duties will include:

Teaching a Key Stage 1 class in line with the national curriculum

Preparing lessons that encourage participation and progress

Supporting pupils of varying abilities through differentiated learning

Creating a classroom culture built around respect, confidence, and achievement

Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate pupil records

Working closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil development
Applicants should:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have experience teaching within a primary setting

Be confident managing behaviour positively and effectively

Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills

Show commitment to delivering high standards of teaching and learning

Be adaptable, reliable, and team-oriented
