We at JKR are excited to be supporting a forward-thinking manufacturing company, in recruiting for a brand-new Production Engineer position!
Production Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide support to management at all levels in achieving business objectives
- Comply with all Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental requirements
- Maintain a strong understanding of all activities within the assigned work areas
- Ensure all physical workspaces consistently meet or exceed company housekeeping standards
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management
- Conduct detailed tool inspections to ensure tools meet specification and are suitable for production use
- Carry out hands-on assembly and preparation of mould tools for production and development trials
- Plan and perform tool trials to validate tooling performance, process capability, and product quality
- Record, analyse, and report trial results, identifying improvements and implementing corrective actions where required
Production Engineer Additional Skills and Attributes:
- Relevant qualifications, product knowledge, or industry experience preferred
- Hands-on Mechanical background
- Familiarity with Quality Management processes, such as CAPA and Non-conformances
- Self-motivated with good time management and reliability
- Able to build professional relationships and work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and maintains a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Committed to ongoing learning and personal development
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement
Production Engineer Working Hours and Benefits:
- Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm
- Friday 8 am to 3 pm
- Standard company pension after 3 months
- Uniform and safety equipment supplied

- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
