IDEX Consulting Ltd
The most exciting opportunities in the market are rarely the most visible.
A well-capitalised specialty insurance platform is seeking a senior Fine Art & Specie underwriter to establish and lead a new underwriting practice within a business embarking on an ambitious period of growth. A firm already deeply submerged in the global logistics and transportation space, with Fine Art being the ideal fit for the next stage of their growth
This is a genuine build opportunity within an independently minded environment, controlled and driven from London.
Not a replacement hire.
Not a portfolio management role.
A chance to create, shape and grow a specialist proposition with the backing of investors and industry leaders who have successfully built significant insurance businesses before.
You'll have the freedom to influence underwriting appetite, product strategy, capacity relationships and future hiring plans, while developing a proposition spanning Fine Art, Specie, Precious Metals, Cash and other high-value asset classes.
The ideal candidate will already be recognised within the market, either as the current leader of a successful operation or as the natural successor waiting for the right opportunity to emerge.
For those motivated by entrepreneurship, ownership and the opportunity to build rather than maintain, opportunities of this nature are exceptionally rare.
