We're looking for a PMO Analyst to help M&G Life deliver its strategic priorities. You'll provide essential support to the PMO Lead and wider Life Change Portfolio, helping ensure strong project governance, effective reporting, and smooth delivery of change initiatives. This includes maintaining high-quality portfolio data, supporting governance forums, preparing clear and accurate reporting and coordinating activities that strengthen control, transparency and performance.
You'll work closely with Programme and Project Managers, Finance and key business stakeholders to ensure our change activity is well – structured, well – governed and aligned to the outcomes we need to deliver for our customers and the business.
Key Responsibilities for this Role
- Support the Portfolio Director and PMO Lead in maintaining governance structures, preparing meeting materials & packs and ensuring coordination and timely submissions to SteerCos and assurance forums
- Maintain/monitor project logs (risk, issues etc.) and ensure these are up-to-date and presented for regular review using ServiceNow and RAID Dashboards
- Escalate delivery risks and blockers as appropriate, supporting the PMO Lead and project managers in risk management
- Facilitate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking and action tracking
- Track delivery progress, milestones, dependencies, and benefits across programmes and projects
- Assist in the preparation of reporting packs, dashboards and insights for governance forums and senior stakeholders
- Support Project Managers with monthly cost tracking, forecast vs actuals and financial reporting to support decision-making
- Support Statements of Work and third-party cost processes, ensuring compliance and transparency
- Monitor resource planning, demand tracking, and capacity analysis across programmes and projects
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and support lessons learned sessions
- Provide support to stakeholders internally and with strategic partners, including facilitating workshops and project health checks
- Champion adherence to company-wide Change Standards and governance frameworks
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience

You bring strong organisational discipline and a continuous improvement mindset, taking ownership of tasks and driving clarity across delivery activity. With a focus on accuracy, transparency and effective communication, you help ensure projects are well-governed, well-coordinated and aligned to organisational priorities.
- You have extensive experience as a PMO Analyst, providing Project or Programme support within a business change or transformation environment, ideally within financial services
- You have a foundational understanding of financial principles, including budgeting and accruals, profit & loss reporting, forecasting and cost management, and can apply these effectively within a PMO environment
- You are proficient with MS Office tools and have experience using project management systems such as ServiceNow, JIRA or equivalent tooling
- You have a solid understanding of governance frameworks, reporting requirements and delivery controls, and can apply these consistently across projects

- You adopt a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting lessons-learned activities
- You act with integrity, accountability and a customer-focused approach, contributing to a positive team culture and strong portfolio delivery
We'd love to hear from you if you're someone who's genuinely curious – the kind of person who asks thoughtful questions and digs a little deeper to understand what's really going on. You enjoy working with others and naturally bring people together, even when things feel a bit unclear. You think ahead, notice patterns early and stay focused on creating real value for the people around you.
