We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join a leading government-facing organisation and play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic technology products and services that support critical operations.
Please note that this role does require SC Clearance and therefore, upon successful appointment, the applicant will be required to undergo SC Clearance if they do not hold this at present.
This is an exciting opportunity for a product professional who thrives in a complex stakeholder environment, can balance strategic vision with hands-on delivery, and has experience managing suppliers, governance processes, and product roadmaps. You will be responsible for defining product strategy, driving value-led delivery, and ensuring products evolve in line with organisational objectives and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
As Product Manager, you will:

Define, own and continuously evolve the product strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, technology direction, and customer outcomes.

Develop and actively manage a value-driven product roadmap and delivery pipeline, balancing demand, risk, dependencies, and business value.

Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring delivery is achieved within agreed timelines, budgets, and scope while maximising business value.

Define and communicate product features, requirements, and release scope to delivery teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Engage with senior stakeholders, providing clear reporting, insight, and recommendations to support decision-making, investment planning, and risk management.

Translate customer needs into product requirements, identifying opportunities for new capabilities, enhancements, and service improvements.

Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with strategic objectives.

Lead supplier engagement and relationship management, ensuring critical service providers deliver against agreed performance, compliance, and commercial objectives.

Establish and maintain effective supplier governance frameworks, proactively managing performance, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Collaborate with Procurement teams throughout the supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, contract management, renewals, performance assurance, and commercial alignment.

Operate within established governance frameworks, contributing to governance boards, audit activities, and organisational assurance processes.

Support the development of future digital and product capability across the organisation.
Essential Skills & Experience

ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
-
Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe Product Manager, or equivalent Product Management certification.

Experience delivering and managing IT products and services.

Strong understanding of service design and service management across the full service lifecycle.

Experience working with third-party suppliers and managing complex stakeholder relationships.

Broad technical understanding across enterprise IT environments.

Proven Product Management experience (typically 2-5 years or more).

Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable Skills & Experience

PRINCE2 Agile certification.

ITIL 4 Specialist certifications or equivalent practical experience.
-
Experience working within Government, Defence, National Security, or highly regulated environments.

Experience managing technology products within complex operational environments.
-
Knowledge of governance, risk management, supplier assurance, and service delivery best practices.
