Reach Forklift Driver – Immediate Start Available
Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting for an experienced Reach Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team. This is an ongoing position with an immediate start available.
Please note: This role is based within a temperature-controlled cold store environment operating at approximately -18°C. Full cold-weather PPE and protective clothing will be provided.
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £15.85 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Reach Truck to move, load and unload stock safely throughout the warehouse.
- Picking and preparing orders accurately for dispatch.
- Receiving inbound deliveries and storing goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Carrying out stock movements and inventory checks.
- Reporting damaged stock, shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Re-stacking and organising pallets ready for storage or distribution.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
- Valid Reach Truck Licence (essential).
- Minimum 1 year's Reach Truck operating experience.
- Previous MHE equipment experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
