Labourer – Modular Recycling Unit Installation
Overview
We are currently recruiting Labourers to support the installation of modular recycling units at supermarket locations across the UK. This is a hands-on, site-based role involving nationwide travel and working away during the week.
The role is ideal for candidates with construction site experience who are reliable, physically fit, and comfortable working in a team environment on varied projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the installation and retrofitting of modular recycling units at retail sites
- Supporting the construction of external structures located in front of supermarket premises
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe
- Following instructions from site supervisors and project managers
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on-site
- Working collaboratively as part of a mobile installation team
Requirements
Essential:
- Valid and in-date CSCS card
- Previous experience working on construction or site-based projects
- Willingness to travel and work away during the week
- Good level of physical fitness
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Desirable:
- SMSTS qualification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- Experience with modular building installation or similar projects
Working Hours & Pay
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
- Regular overtime may be available depending on project requirements
- Competitive hourly rate: £15 – £17 per hour
- Travel and accommodation provided when working away (if applicable)
