Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Haywards Heath
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-5:00pm, including 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Pay: £18.41 per hour
Pay: £18.41 per hour
Daily production bonus: £7.89, paid monthly
Additional overtime: Paid at 1.5x where required
Hours: 47.5 hours per week (6:30am-7:00am paid at 1.5x overtime rate)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our longstanding clients, a busy manufacturing business.
This role will be responsible for supporting the continuous running of machinery and equipment, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.

The Requirements:
- Qualified electrician with mechanical knowledge
- Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Good organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Able to work well as part of a team
The Role:
- Provide electrical maintenance support across the plant
- Carry out electrical repairs and support production teams
- Follow isolation and lock-off procedures at all times
- Complete work instructions, risk assessments and permit-to-work documentation
- Support machine set-up and changeovers to maintain quality standards
- Liaise with the Maintenance Manager regarding production and maintenance requirements
- Assist with planned works, breakdowns and shutdown periods where required
