This is a rare opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of growth, working alongside senior tax professionals in a modern, entrepreneurial environment. The firm advises large multinational groups, listed businesses, and private equity-backed organisations, delivering high-quality, conflict-free tax advice on complex transactions and strategic business decisions. The role offers exposure to a broad range of domestic and international projects, with the opportunity to help shape the future direction of a growing transactions tax practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements for corporate and private equity clients.
  • Identify, assess and quantify tax risks and opportunities within target businesses.

  • Support transaction execution through SPA review, negotiation support and tax covenant analysis.
  • Provide strategic advice on reorganisations, refinancing arrangements and post-deal integration projects.
  • Advise on international tax matters affecting cross-border transactions and multinational groups.
  • Monitor developments in international tax legislation, including OECD-led reforms and global minimum tax initiatives.
  • Work closely with legal, corporate finance and international advisory teams on complex transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Support business development activities, proposals and market-facing initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the team.
  • Contribute to the growth, strategy and ongoing development of the transactions tax offering.
  • Champion the use of technology and AI-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency and client service delivery.

About You

  • CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong UK corporate tax technical knowledge.
  • Proven experience delivering transaction tax and tax due diligence projects.
  • Experience advising large corporate groups, multinational businesses and/or private equity clients.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance technical analysis with practical business outcomes.
  • Experience reviewing financial information and transaction documentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience managing client relationships and developing junior team members.
  • A collaborative approach and desire to contribute to a growing business.

What's on Offer

  • Opportunity to join a high-growth, advisory-focused tax practice.
  • Significant exposure to complex and high-profile transactions.
  • Direct access to senior leadership and decision-makers.
  • International project exposure and cross-border collaboration opportunities.
  • Modern, technology-enabled working environment.
  • Genuine opportunity to influence the growth and direction of the team.
