Associate / Senior Associate – Planning & Highways

About the Role
As an Associate or Senior Associate, you will be a key member of a dynamic, collaborative team. You'll be involved in a diverse range of projects, offering strategic and practical advice to clients, and helping to deliver complex planning solutions that drive real change.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on and negotiate Section 106 agreements and other planning obligations.
- Provide guidance to committees, local authorities, and private sector clients on planning matters.
- Support CPOs, regeneration, and infrastructure projects from inception to delivery.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams on major developments and complex planning schemes.
- Assist with business development and client engagement activities.
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years PQE in planning law, with strong experience in Section 106 agreements and CPOs.
- Proven ability to provide advice on committee reports, appeals, and other planning processes.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior lawyers and supporting team growth.
- Exceptional communication and client relationship skills.
- Commercially minded and able to provide clear, practical advice under pressure.
