A welcoming and well-organised primary school in the Dudley area is seeking an experienced School Administrator to join their busy office team. This is a fast-paced role requiring someone who can confidently manage multiple administrative duties while supporting staff, pupils, and parents to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities: Managing daily reception duties and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external agencies Handling safeguarding-related queries and ensuring correct school procedures are followed Maintaining accurate pupil records using school management systems Supporting attendance monitoring, admissions, and pupil data updates Managing phone calls, emails, and general correspondence professionally Supporting the wider office team with administrative tasks and scheduling Working across school systems including ARBOR, SIMS, and BROMCOM Assisting with compliance and GDPR-related administrative processes Requirements: Previous experience working in a school office or busy administrative environment Strong working knowledge of school systems (ARBOR, SIMS, BROMCOM desirable) Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities Confident handling safeguarding processes and confidential information Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and data entry systems Important Information: No training will be provided – applicants must be fully competent and able to start immediately Candidates without an Enhanced DBS must obtain and fund their own Enhanced DBS check prior to starting Experience in a primary school setting is highly desirable
