Reed Accountancy Practice are working with an established and forward-thinking accountancy firm who are seeking an experienced Client Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who enjoys working closely with clients, leading on accounts preparation, and supporting junior colleagues.
The Role:
You will play a key role in managing a diverse client portfolio while delivering a high standard of service. Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, and LLPs
- Producing management accounts and overseeing financial reporting
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff members
- Liaising directly with clients, managers, and partners to gather required information
- Maintaining high levels of client service and relationship management
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Undertaking bookkeeping duties for a range of clients
- Assisting with workflow management and process improvements
- Supporting the adoption of cloud accounting and technology solutions
- Providing ad-hoc support and advice to clients
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Ideally 5+ years’ experience within an accountancy practice
- ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and cloud-based accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive, positive approach with strong communication skills
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
