Your New Role
We are working with a growing, security-focused IT solutions provider who are looking for a confident and capable IT Field Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a hands-on, varied role where you will provide technical support to customers across the South of England, delivering IT projects from design through to implementation. You will work across infrastructure, networking, hardware, and cloud technologies, whilst also supporting the wider service desk function and contributing to the continued growth of the business.
As part of a close-knit team, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact, working directly with customers and helping to deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality IT solutions.
Ensuring Your Success
You will have previous experience working in an IT support, field engineering, or infrastructure role, with strong knowledge of Windows environments, networking, and security technologies. Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls (such as WatchGuard or Fortinet), Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing is highly desirable. You will be a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills and the confidence to work independently on client sites. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South of England are essential. Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, MDM, backup solutions, and cybersecurity tools would be advantageous, alongside relevant Microsoft certifications.
