Our client is looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join their busy Supply Chain team in Wakefield. This is a varied role where you'll support international shipments, coordinate deliveries, liaise with overseas suppliers and freight forwarders, and help ensure products reach customers on time.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinating import shipments from overseas suppliers and factories
- Managing shipping documentation and shipment records
- Liaising with freight forwarders and internal departments
- Processing invoices, payments, and customer dispatches
- Booking deliveries and updating internal systems
- Supporting stock control and year-end stock takes
What we're looking for:
- Strong Excel skills
- Good working knowledge of Word and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
