About the Role Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher who can inspire students to explore the world's diverse beliefs, values, and cultures? We are seeking a committed Teacher to join secondary schools in Cardiff. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to encourage critical thinking and empathy while equipping students with a deeper understanding of global perspectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver thought-provoking lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Encourage open-minded discussions and debates that challenge students
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
* Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment where all students feel safe to express their views.
* Participate in school activities, assemblies, and events to contribute to the broader school community.
About You We are looking for a Supply Teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds and inspire them to explore complex ideas with curiosity and respect.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching at secondary school level.
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
* A proactive and reflective approach to teaching, with a commitment to student development.
* Flexibility and a willingness to be an active part of the school's community. An enhanced DBS and EWC for Wales.
