Azure Cloud Engineer – Projects/BAU (70/30) – ARM/Bicep – IAAS – PAAS – Powershell/Python – (AWS/Oracle Cloud)

Leading financial services client is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join their team in London. This is a hands-on technical role focused on designing, implementing, and supporting public cloud platforms for IaaS and PaaS services. They are a multi-cloud environment, you will work primarily with Azure and Oracle Cloud, and later with AWS as it is onboarded. The role involves collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skillset further with Oracle Cloud and AWS.
Skills and experience required:
- Strong hands-on Azure engineering experience, including Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep / ARM)
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, with Python desirable)
- Version control experience (Git)
- Real-world experience implementing and supporting Azure
- Ability to design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions
- Good knowledge of IAM and security best practices
Desirable
- AWS engineering experience (CloudFormation and/or Terraform)
- Experience with Oracle Cloud services
- Strong automation skills and ability to leverage scripting for problem-solving.
- Knowledge of REST APIs
