Reed are working with a rapidly growing and award-winning company based in Central Bristol, recruiting for a Business Development Executive on a full time, permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be part of a growing team of BDEs. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, proactive, and enjoys making connections over the phone.
You’ll be joining a fast-paced, supportive environment where success is recognised and rewarded, with real opportunity to progress as the team continues to grow.
Location: Central Bristol (Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 from home) with flexible start and end times
Package: £27,000–£29,000 basic salary + Uncapped Commission (OTE realistically an extra £6,000 in bonus)
The Role
You’ll take ownership of a new business pipeline, focusing on building relationships across nurseries, early years settings, schools and education groups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively generating new business through outbound calls and outreach
- Engaging with decision-makers to identify training and recruitment needs
- Developing strong, long-term client relationships
- Converting inbound enquiries into active opportunities
- Managing your own pipeline and consistently hitting activity targets
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and reporting on performance
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
- Spotting opportunities to upsell and expand existing accounts
About You
- Experience in a sales, business development or target-driven environment
- Confident communicator with a strong telephone presence
- Driven, proactive and resilient mindset
- Ability to manage your own workload and hit KPI’s
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Keen to build a long-term career in sales
