General Operative role – Redditch
Due to continuous company growth, ASC Connections are currently recruiting for General Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment company in Redditch. This role would suit someone who is hands on, previously from a production or manufacturing environment.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
- Flexibility is essential, including working different shifts and weekends when required
- Overtime available
- Temporary to Permanent role
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out loading and filling duties within production
- Following detailed written instructions and processes
- Carrying out basic calculations as part of daily tasks
- Handling materials and products
- Supporting general production and warehouse activities
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
What We're Looking For:
- Good English and Maths skills
- Ability to follow written instructions and carry out calculations accurately
- Physically fit and able to undertake continuous lifting
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Flexible approach to working hours and shifts
Desirable:
- FLT licence (not essential – training will be provided after successful probation)

- Pay review after successful 12-week probation period
