We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tenancy Enforcement Lead to join a housing provider on a 2–3 month temporary contract in Wallington, Surrey.
Please note: candidates must have proven experience as an ASB Officer – this is essential.
The Role
This is a specialist role focused on managing complex Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and tenancy enforcement cases. You will lead on serious cases requiring formal action, working closely with internal teams, legal services, and external partners to deliver effective outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex ASB and tenancy enforcement cases from start to finish
- Prepare and present legal cases, including gathering evidence, drafting witness statements, and court documentation
- Represent the organisation in court proceedings, acting as a professional witness where required
- Investigate and take action on tenancy fraud and serious breaches of tenancy agreements
- Provide expert guidance and support to housing teams on ASB case management
- Work collaboratively with police, local authorities, and partner agencies to resolve cases
- Ensure all cases are managed in line with relevant legislation and best practice
- Support wider teams with training and knowledge sharing on ASB processes
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Proven experience as an ASB Officer (essential)
- Strong experience managing complex ASB and housing enforcement cases
- Experience preparing and presenting cases in court proceedings
- Solid knowledge of tenancy law, ASB legislation, and enforcement processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a high-risk caseload
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly desirable due to the nature of the role.
