Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable 1:1 TA to work closely with a single pupil who requires dedicated support throughout the school day in Runcorn. Your primary goal will be to keep the pupil engaged with their learning, manage their specific behavioural or emotional needs, and ensure they feel safe and included in classroom activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Working 1:1 with a designated pupil, modifying classroom tasks to match their specific learning speed and capability.

Implementing positive behaviour strategies and helping the pupil manage frustration or anxiety.

Supporting the pupil during transition periods, lunchtimes, and social play to encourage inclusion.

Accompanying the pupil to therapy or sensory room sessions as required by their routine.
Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience working 1:1 with children who display challenging behaviour, ADHD, Autism, or speech delays.

Ability to build quick, trusted rapport with young people while maintaining professional boundaries.

Resilient, proactive, and highly patient approach to education support.

A current Enhanced DBS check or willingness to process one immediately.
