We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a Market Expansion programme in Payments.
- Role: Test Automation Engineer
- Day rate: £425-470 per day (inside IR35)
- Pay framework: Umbrella Company
- Start date: ASAP
- End Date: 31st December 2026 (with scope to extend)
- Location: Glasgow – 4 days onsite, 1 day working from home
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will focus on building and maintaining automated solutions for end-to-end (E2E) flows, ensuring robust deployment and operational excellence across our engineering landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining, deploying services, failure investigations
- Solid Python experience
- Cloud hosting knowledge is required
- Selenium / Playwright experience
- Extend the POC codes to services, keep sanity testing running post each deployment/change across automation tools
- Working with users to capture their issues and investigate
- Building FAQ on issues and resolutions
- Track performance of tools release to make sure there is no degradation
Essential skills:
- Test Automation experience
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Coding experience
- Business and basic payments domain knowledge will be a plus
