Paraplanner
Hybrid Working | £35,000 – £45,000 + Benefits
We are working with a growing and forward-thinking financial planning business that is looking to recruit a Paraplanner to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive environment where you'll work closely with experienced Financial Planners and gain exposure to a wide range of technical cases.

The Role
Working alongside the Financial Planners, you will provide technical support and research, ensuring advice is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities will include:
• Preparing suitability reports and recommendations to agreed deadlines
• Undertaking technical research across pensions, investments and protection
• Reviewing existing client portfolios and arrangements
• Assisting with investment proposition research
• Cashflow modelling and analysis
• Gathering and interpreting client information from fact finds
• Liaising with providers and handling technical queries
• Ensuring advice meets FCA and Consumer Duty requirements
• Supporting Financial Planners in delivering an excellent client experience
• Participating in team meetings and, where appropriate, client meetings
About You
Applicants should have previous experience within a Paraplanning role and possess a strong understanding of retail financial planning products.
You will ideally:
• Hold the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or be working towards it
• Have experience producing suitability reports and carrying out technical research
• Possess strong analytical and report-writing skills
• Have experience using cashflow modelling software
• Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
