Spanish Teacher Temp to Perm (East London)
Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced and fully qualified Spanish Teacher to join a secondary school in East London. This is a full time temp to perm position starting September 2026.
The school has a strong Modern Foreign Languages department, excellent leadership support, and a positive, inclusive culture. You will be delivering Spanish teaching across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available for suitable candidates.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Spanish Teacher who:
- Holds QTS with proven teaching experience
- Can confidently deliver Spanish at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Has strong subject knowledge and a track record of raising attainment
- Brings enthusiasm, professionalism and excellent classroom practice
- Works effectively within a collaborative MFL department

Contract Details
Position: Spanish Teacher
- Type: Temp to Perm
- Start Date: September 2025
- Hours: 8:00am 3:30pm/4:00pm + parents evenings
- Pay: Inner London Pay Scale
- Commitment: Full time only
Essential Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Degree in Spanish or a related subject
- PGCE / SCITT / Teach First (or equivalent)
- Experienced teachers only not open to ECTs
- Strong behaviour management and lesson skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
