NOW HIRING: Setting Out Engineer (National Grid / EUSR) Location: St Helens Start Date: Monday, 13th July Duration: 9 Months (Long-term contract) Rates: CIS: £450 – £500 / day (Depending on experience) PAYE: £360 / day
We are seeking an experienced Site / Setting Out Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering and utilities for a major 9-month project based in St Helens.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a high-calibre engineer who is fully compliant with National Grid site requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Precise civil engineering setting out and dimensional control. Managing and updating ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) and QA records. Producing accurate As-built documentation and surveys. Collaborating with the site management team to ensure works meet strict design tolerances and project specifications.
Requirements: Proven background as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure. Valid EUSR National Grid Person certification (Essential). Strong competency with modern surveying kit (Leica/Topcon Total Stations & GPS). Excellent QA and technical documentation skills. Valid CSCS card.
