Commercial Litigation Paralegal, 1+ years’ previous experience, Chester, up to c£30,000 (DOE) – This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded Commercial Litigation team where you'll gain hands-on experience working on a broad range of complex disputes. Supporting experienced solicitors, you'll play a key role in progressing cases while developing your technical expertise and building a strong foundation for your legal career. JOB REF:4354.
THE ROLE: • You'll be involved in high-quality work from day one, assisting on matters including commercial and contractual disputes, property litigation, partnership and shareholder disputes, and intellectual property issues. • Working as part of a collaborative Dispute Resolution team, you'll assist with all stages of litigation, helping to ensure matters are progressed efficiently while delivering an exceptional service to clients. • Assisting solicitors with the day-to-day management of a varied commercial litigation caseload. • Preparing files for hearings, mediations and client meetings, attending where required and producing accurate attendance notes. • Handling new enquiries and supporting file opening and case administration processes. • Monitoring deadlines, updating the case management system and ensuring files remain compliant. • Taking ownership of routine procedural tasks and proactively identifying opportunities to move matters forward • Providing regular updates to clients and maintaining high standards of client care throughout the litigation process.
SKILLS REQUIRED: • You'll already have at least one year's experience in a Litigation or Dispute Resolution environment and be looking for an opportunity where you can continue to develop. • Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail. • The ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage multiple deadlines. • A proactive approach, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in building a career in commercial litigation. • A professional, client-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering an excellent service.
