The Role
As a Paraplanner, you'll play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by providing high-quality research, technical analysis, and suitability reports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive research on financial products and investments
- Preparing bespoke investment and financial planning reports
- Analysing existing portfolios against suitable benchmarks
- Producing complex financial planning recommendations
- Assisting with pension and investment transfer analysis
- Keeping up to date with technical, legislative and regulatory developments
- Supporting trainee paraplanners and sharing technical knowledge
- Contributing to research projects and meeting agreed service levels
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Previous Paraplanning experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment
- Strong financial planning and technical knowledge
- Excellent report-writing skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written, numerical and analytical skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
