Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a background in Manufacturing or Production environment, looking for a stable, long term role with a well-established company that offer a 4 On 4 Off shift pattern to promote work life balance?
On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established packaging manufacturer that has been operating since 1977, producing adhesive materials for a wide range of industries, including automotive and wind turbine manufacturing. The company prides itself on providing excellent working conditions and promoting a healthy work-life balance for its employees.
In this site-based role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance across a range of production machinery, working alongside a close-knit team of engineers. You will also play a key role in responding to reactive breakdowns, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum. The position offers a high level of autonomy, with a relaxed and supportive working environment that allows you to manage your workload effectively without excessive pressure.
This role would suit a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a background in Manufacturing, looking for a secure role with a well-established company working a 4 On 4 Off shift on an alternating days and nights shift pattern.
The Role:
- Pre-planned Maintenance of production machinery
- Reactive breakdown works
- 4 On 4 Off Monday – Thursday
Shift Pattern:
- 6:00am-18:00pm Week 1
- 18:00pm-6:00am Week 2
The Person:
- Multi Skilled Engineer or similar
- Background working on manufacturing machinery
- NVQ/OMC In a relevant sector
- Commutable to Ebbw Vale
