A well-established specialist packaging and logistics business is seeking an experienced Dangerous Goods Packer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience handling hazardous materials who is looking for a stable, long-term position.
Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm, with overtime available
Key Responsibilities
- Packing dangerous goods in accordance with industry regulations and company procedures.
- Preparing shipments for dispatch, ensuring all documentation and labelling requirements are met.
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties and stock management.
- Operating warehouse equipment where authorised.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience handling and packing dangerous goods.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Eligible for coverage under the company's vehicle insurance policy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
- Forklift licence/certification.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or freight experience.
- Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations such as ADR, IATA,
