Internal Sales Manager – Cruise Division
Location: Poole (office-based)
Contract: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Internal Sales Manager to join a fast-paced and forward-thinking organisation within the cruise sector. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving revenue growth, leading a high-performing SME (Subject Matter Expert) team, and shaping sales strategy within a dynamic and evolving market.
The Opportunity
As Internal Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the internal sales function, coaching and developing your team to maximise performance, strengthen customer relationships, and consistently deliver against ambitious targets. You will play a pivotal part in improving conversion rates, managing pipeline performance, and implementing data-driven sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the SME sales team to achieve and exceed performance targets
- Set, monitor and report on KPIs, forecasts and pipeline activity
- Manage existing customer accounts while identifying and nurturing new opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement in conversion rates and sales effectiveness
- Oversee recruitment, performance management and team development initiatives
- Work collaboratively with procurement on product sourcing, pricing and margin optimisation
- Support tender and RFP processes
- Strengthen relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure pipeline discipline with accurate forecasting, values and timelines
- Champion digital sales transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
About You
- Proven experience in an internal sales leadership role
- Strong people management and coaching capability, with a track record of driving team performance
- B2B sales experience, ideally within premium leisure, retail or hospitality sectors
- Highly data-driven, with strong analytical skills and a focus on continuous improvement
- Confident managing pipelines, forecasting and sales strategy execution
- Commercially astute, with the ability to influence pricing and margin decisions
- Resilient, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- A motivating and engaging leader who thrives on developing others and delivering results
