Senior/Associate CDM Consultant

THE ROLE
Your responsibilities as a Senior/Associate CDM Consultant will include:
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team across various sectors: commercial, industrial, education, residential, and heritage.
- Act as Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015 or provide CDM Client Adviser services.
- Advise clients on their CDM Regulations 2015 duties.
- Plan, manage, and monitor the pre-construction phase.
- Coordinate health and safety aspects of design work.
- Communicate residual risks effectively.
- Liaise with designers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and review Pre-Construction Information.
- Compile and review Health and Safety Files.
- Conduct site visits for compliance monitoring and guidance.
- Support wider project teams on health and safety best practices.
- Take on the Health & Safety Adviser role for the business, including inputting into Practice policies and procedures.
- Develop and expand the existing CDM offering, attracting new clients.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Senior/Associate CDM Consultant will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
- Degree in construction, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Membership in a professional body (e.g. APS, IOSH, RICS or CIOB) preferred.
- Experience in delivering Principal Designer and/or CDM Adviser services.
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and associated health & safety legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive service growth.
- Experience in client leadership and business development.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
