The Role
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join a busy onsite operation in Barnoldswick. This role is key to ensuring the smooth flow of products, supporting customer production requirements and maintaining efficient supply chain processes.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing logistics operations and administrative duties to ensure a continuous and reliable supply of products. This is a varied, hands-on role within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage open orders proactively and follow up with suppliers
- Receive, check, and book in deliveries accurately
- Carry out stock checks and manage inventory levels
- Support onsite vending machines (where applicable), including refills and basic maintenance
- Coordinate collection and shipment of tools for regrind and recycling
- Manage delivery discrepancies, including non-conformances and returns
- Maintain accurate records, including scanning and filing documentation
- Support Accounts Payable with delivery-related queries
- Communicate with onsite teams and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays
The Person
About You
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Good English and Maths skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in stock control, logistics, or supply chain environments
- Understanding of health & safety practices
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Desirable
- Experience with vending systems (e.g. SupplyPro, Autocrib, Matrix)
- Exposure to manufacturing or engineering environments
- Experience working in a customer-facing, onsite role
