As an Air Export Coordinator, working for our Global Forwarder based at London Heathrow, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end export process of temperature-sensitive goods. Your goal is to ensure that shipments are handled efficiently, compliantly, and delivered on time while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and care.
Responsibilities of an Air Export Coordinator:
- Organise air freight bookings with airlines and vendors, ensuring all shipments are properly scheduled and aligned with customer timelines
- Prepare and verify all necessary export documents in compliance with international regulations and specific customer or destination country requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing shipment updates, resolving issues, and ensuring customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded
- Complete customs entries without support, ensuring to follow all regulations required
Requirements for an Air Export Coordinator:
- Proven background in air logistics, particularly with perishable or time-critical shipments
- Clear, professional communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients-both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with export documentation and compliance standards for perishable goods.
- Strong attention to detail
- IT Literate
Salary: £40,000
Location: Hounslow
Shift: 4ON4OFF DAYS (6am-6pm)
