What You will Be Responsible For

· Managing the administration and day to day activities and operations of the Asda Foundation

· Supporting the management of Asda Foundation’s financial lifecycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting (including annual audit and preparation of statutory accounts and reporting)

· Leading a team of Asda colleagues to manage the development, processing, and administration of Asda Foundation grants, as well as providing a point of contact for Asda store and home office colleague with queries about the Asda Foundation

· Driving change and building strategy across all areas of the Foundation

· Supporting and ensuring good governance and compliance with legal requirements and compliance policies and procedures

· Supporting with safeguarding and managing any concerns raised

· Meeting the statutory reporting requirements of Companies House and Charity Commission of England and Wales

· Supporting the Trustee Board with reporting and communications.

About You
We require an enthusiastic, initiative-taker with an ability to manage a team and ensure good governance, financial delivery, and legal compliance.

You Will Possess

· Experience of managing a charities day to day affairs

· Experience of financial management and reporting.

· Experience of working with the Corporate Social Responsibility and/or Charity sectors

· Experience of managing multi-million pound Corporate and/or Charitable Giving programmes

· Experience of leading a team

· An ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

· An ability to flex your communication style to suit your audience.

· A resilient attitude to change.
