Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and well-loved nursery in the Truro area, currently experiencing high demand for additional support. We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and reliable Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week).

You’ll support children at a crucial stage of their early development, helping to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where they can grow in confidence, explore, and thrive through play.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting children within a nursery / EYFS setting (ages 0–5)
  • Encouraging learning through play, creativity, and exploration
  • Assisting with daily routines including activities, mealtimes, and care
  • Providing consistent, nurturing support to help children feel safe and secure
  • Supporting children with additional needs where required
  • Working closely with colleagues to create a positive and engaging setting

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Experience in a nursery or EYFS environment
  • A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong understanding of early years development
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
  • A proactive, hands-on and adaptable attitude
